About Bev

I believe financial planning is more than just managing wealth and guiding you through the chapters of your financial life – it’s about honoring your life’s work, aligning your money with what matters most, and creating a meaningful legacy. As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP), I have spent over three decades helping clients navigate their financial journeys with confidence, clarity, and purpose.

My practice is rooted in empathy and trust. I understand that talking about money can feel vulnerable, and I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and understood. Whether you are planning for retirement, managing a life transition, or seeking to give back through philanthropy, I am here to guide and support you every step of the way.

I want my clients to understand I was actually hired by their ‘best self’. That I see them succeeding in all areas important to them. That part of my job is cheerleader, coach, friend, creative proposer of ideas, and instigator of solutions.

I want them to know that we’ll review all financial areas of consequence and focus most on those that are their priority as well as those with the most impact on their futures. That we’ll look at ways to safeguard what they’ve built, grow it, and if interested discover how best to define and institute their legacy. A full circle life planning experience.

I specialize in working with women who are navigating life on their own – single, divorced, or widowed. Having walked a similar path as a long-time divorced businesswoman, I recognize the strength and resilience it takes to build and manage your financial future. My goal is to empower you to take charge of your finances, embrace new possibilities, and design a compelling and confident future that reflects your values and aspirations.

I am also partial to people who have done well in their financial lives and have always had or are feeling a yearning to give back, make a mark, leave a legacy, yes to their family but also to their communities and favored charities. I am proud to help such people figure out what that means to them and how they can best answer that call.

Beyond my financial planning practice, I am actively involved in nonprofit boards and professional organizations, including the boards of SSPGC (South Sound Planned Giving Council), and GTCF (Greater Tacoma Community Foundation). I am a founding member and Champion of Leave 10 South Sound, an initiative to encourage everyone to consider leaving 10% of their estate to charity. I believe that by giving back and staying connected to my community, I can better serve those who entrust me with their financial lives.
